Public works story board

For my public work i did a song and i took the opening from a lil wayne song and turned it into this fun storyboard.  I think it reads well on what is happening but its basically just following him as he gets ready and leaves. The whole thing is 21 seconds long and cuts on the beat. godfather story board coming next.

My final 2 slide show storyboards have been buffering to the blog for about 20 minutes. I sent them to your email miles and i will have them up on the blog a soon as they buffer.

Project 5

Here is a poster of an enviorment and the charachter daisy for my film.  The Pre Production on the film is going well i have a better idea of what i want this world to look like i have also completed the storyboarding and we plan on shooting during spring break.  I have a high fever and am not going to class today, it would be horrible to get other people sick with a few weeks left.  I plan on seeing you all in class on wedsnesday.

project 4 : landscapes

These are my 3 landscapes i did.  I forgot to bring my refrences so i could scan them into the computer i will update with them later. I used my living room a postcard from tennessee and other photos i had lying around.  This was a fun project and was good practice for getting objects the correct sizes for where they are in the foreground or background, so nothing looks to weird.

450 personal review and timeline.

This is week 6 and i am not as far into this process as i thought i would be at this point.  The goal i had is by the end of the term i wanted to have a 30 second complete nice looking trailer.  I have slightly changed this in the past few weeks and my production time line as well. 

At this stage the story for the most part is finalized and should not be changing to much more form this point.  So with finalizing the script i have shot list the new material and plan on having all of the live action storyboards and most of the animation in a slideshow for my critique on the 9th.  I have changed my production timeline slightly to account for my new goals.  By Febuary 9th storyboards will be completed, being able to visually show not only the concept but getting my shot listing done so i wont have to be worried about it as much during shooting.

I want to have the shot list done within the next 2 weeks for the entire film.  While i do this me and my colleagues in the project plan on creating flyers and advertising this week looking for actors in the area.  We will only need 2 actors for the ive action scenes so i hope if we get these up soon and continue to look for talent then we should have our actors ready by spring break, and be able to shoot the live action segement of the film then.  Other then this to get to shoot by spring break this month i will have to make an excell sheet of all items, shooting days, and times but more importantly we will have to find a finalized shooting location.

This has been a very busy term that has been filled with learning new things.  Between this class art 348 and my film internship i am being forced to work on my time management, planning, and using my time for work with a goal of being done with X project in X hours instead of saying this has to be done in 3 days ill get it by then.  But to conclude my goal for this term as an art 450 student is to be finished with pre production and on track to film during spring break.  As a student my goal is to be more productive with my time and work on not only dealing with multiple projects happening now but pre-paring for and working on the ones coming up in a productive time efficient way, and to follow MAGMA.

Daisy and Anne Bio

This is the biography of Daisy (the old lady in the wheelchair) and anne, the 2 charachters from my short film script Pushing Out Daisy.

Daisy was born in the south in the mid 30s, she never told anyone the year she was born not even her only child anne, we just assume from her looks she is in the 70s or 80s.  Daisy lived a hard childhood and was often forced to fend for herself, starting the practice of keeping and eating roadkill, theres no meat fresher than free range chicken as daisy likes to say.  Daisy got married the first time to a young recruit in world war two named hank.  She was only married to hank for a week until he was deployed and took shrapnel to the chest in grenada, but before he left hank managed to continue his torment of daisy and left her with anne.


Daisy raised anne as a single parent, paying the bills by being an enforcer for a local motor cycle gang, as daisy says "times are tough, but there even tougher when i have her to deal with her", ah the voice of a loving mother.  As Anne grew she became to rebel against her mothers odd ways and protest her smoking, she eventually left home at 20 to travel the country with the grateful dead and experience the groovyness of the time.  On the first day of tour Anne was shocked to see that Daisy had the same idea, from that day on anne stopped doing things for herself, she knew her mother would always try to out do her, they have lived together ever since. 


Now Anne and Daisy live a boring life together, always one putting up just enough with the other one.
